The Architectural Committee (AC) is required by our covenants. It maintains Waverly Park’s architectural integrity by reviewing homeowners’ plans for changes and enforcing the restrictive covenants.
Contact the Waverly Park Architectural Committee. Email is automatically fowarded to all committee members.
If you plan to add a structure or change the exterior of your home or lot, you’ll need to submit plans to the AC for approval.
Not sure if you need AC approval?
- Send email and ask.
- There is a $50 fee for projects begun without required AC approval.
Please review the WPHA Architectural Guide before submitting plans.
Submit plans:
- By email (preferred)
- Drop off with AC Secretary, 848 Oxford Drive.
Plans should include:
- a statement from the homeowner explaining the project (keep it simple),
- a site plan with project location and dimensions, including property line setbacks (Doesn’t have to be to scale and hand drawn is OK)
- materials and colors to be used,
- trees to be removed and
- a project picture or line drawing when appropriate
The AC may request additional information.
The covenants give the AC up to 60 days to review plans; however, reviews are currently taking less than two weeks from the time the AC receives plans with all the needed information.
There is no fee for architectural committee review.
In addition to AC approval, the homeowner must obtain any required county permits and comply with any applicable county ordinances or restrictions.
